On Monday, the Supreme Court issued orders from its conference from last Friday. No cert. grants in habeas cases. Well, except for two GVR's in decisions out of the Ninth Circuit in light of Cullen v. Pinholster.
With respect to relists, one habeas case has been relisted. It's a capital habeas called Bobby v. Mitts, 10-1000, in which the Sixth Circuit granted habeas relief. SCOTUSblog believes it will be a summary reversal based on the decision last term in Smith v. Spisak, which concerned the exact same jury charge during the sentencing stage of a death penalty case.
