One case to be heard this week. Here are the details:
Wednesday, April 6
Dillon v. Conway, 08-4030-pr
- Argument Date: 4/6/11
- Panel: Winter, Cabranes, Lohier
- Lower Ct. Info: 07-CV-10728, 2008 WL 2971986 (SDNY Aug. 15, 2008) (GBD) (DFE)
- In Circuit: Cir. Ct. COA
- Issue: whether appellant was entitled to equitable tolling of the one-year statute of limitations period
Just to note that I saw from the calendar that the Second Circuit is going to be sitting at two different places in Connecticut this week. According to the panel calendar, on Tuesday, the court will sit at 141 Church Street in New Haven. A google search reveals that that is the address of the federal courthouse in New Haven. On Friday, the court will sit at the University of Connecticut Law School, which is in Hartford (according to the school's website).
The panel on April 6, the one for this habeas case, will sit in the regular courtroom in Manhattan.
