Ten years after a Long Island man was sentenced to 20 years in state prison for robbing the corporate headquarters of a distribution company, a federal judge has thrown out the conviction.
And later, here's a quote from Nelson's attorney:
Andrea G. Hirsch represented Mr. Nelson on appeal. Ms. Hirsch said she reached her client to inform him of the decision on Thanksgiving.
"He cried all day," Ms. Hirsch said. "He's pretty happy, but he's pretty anxious about what's going to happen next."
