I definitely found it fun to watch. The person in my office who lives in the Bronx says that there really has been a huge amount of excitement on the street over her elevation to the Supreme Court. So it's nice to see that she gets to have the spotlight shone on her at Yankee stadium.
Of course, I am not a Yankee fan. I am a lifelong Cubs fan. All I can say is that I have learned from an early age how to deal with losing and heartbreak. And this has been a particularly grueling season, especially because the Cardinals are in first. Alas, it's not a complete loss. My years of suffering as a Cubs fan has left me well-prepared to represent petitioners in habeas cases. At least from an emotional point of view.
