This is my personal blog consisting of my personal opinions about the law and other stuff. None of the commentary on this blog should be viewed as providing legal advice in any way. These are just opinions. This blog is in no way affiliated with the Center for Appellate Litigation ("CAL") or Brooklyn Law School. While I appreciate the link from CAL's website, that does not indicate, in any way, that CAL approves of anything that is said on this blog. The office has granted me approval to do this as outside work, which means that it is independent of my work at CAL. Further, while I may at times discuss habeas petitions that CAL is working on, I will respect all ethical requirements for lawyers at CAL and only discuss material that is set forth in the public papers. Finally, if I am ever the attorney of record in any case discussed on the blog, that will be mentioned in the post itself.
